The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. announced that notice has been given that all outstanding 7.20% Trust Preferred Securities, Series A of Hartford Life Capital I , CUSIP NO. 416590206, have been called for redemption on March 15, 2004. The redemption price will be $25 per share, plus accumulated and unpaid distributions thereon to March 15, 2004, in the amount of $0.30 per share. The redemption price will be payable on March 15, 2004, in the manner provided in the Amended and Restated Declaration of Trust for the preferred securities.
