Some parts of Queensland are on stand-by for flash flooding .. as more torrential rain
disrupts recovery efforts in areas where raging rivers have begun to subside.

The focus has now shifted southwards .. from central to southeast Queensland .. which
is being battered by heavy local falls.

Authorities have warned the ground is so waterlogged that sudden downpours can quickly
cause flash flooding.
