The real problem is too few designated routes for cyclists

I am sorry Julie Trollope seems to have had such a bad experiencewith cyclists, but what a shame she did not appear to haveacknowledged the real problem, which is the lack of dedicated cycleroutes for keen cyclists and commuters such as myself.

There is far more concern for the amount of car accidents whichoccur every day, and people such as Julie ought to consider this,plus the effect car pollution is having on the environment.

If there were only sufficient dedicated cycle lanes I am surecyclists would not feel the need to ride on the pavement and wouldfeel much safer themselves.

Is this after all not what the Government is trying to achieve?

The councils need to take a leaf out of Copenhagen's book andintroduce more cycle lanes.
